Alignix is a service provided by Alignix Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.

What these terms cover

These Terms of Sale apply when you buy or access paid Alignix products, reports, subscriptions or digital services through our website.

Alignix provides career intelligence tools for project and engineering professionals, including Career Roadmap, Match Report, Career Vault, Next Move Alerts and related career development features.

What you are buying

Depending on the product selected, you may be buying or accessing one or more of the following:

Career Roadmap, a personalised digital report that helps identify likely next roles, skills gaps, salary direction and a practical career action plan.
Match Report, a personalised digital report that helps assess how closely your CV or experience matches a specific job advert.
Career Vault, an ongoing subscription product that helps users save career evidence, complete skills proof challenges, track career actions, prepare for appraisals or pay rise conversations and strengthen future career profiles.
Next Move Alerts, an email alert feature that may send curated roles or opportunities linked to your preferences.
Talent Pool profile features, where users may choose to create a profile and opt in to be considered for relevant opportunities in the future.

The exact price, product description and billing terms will be shown at checkout before payment.

Digital delivery

Career Roadmap and Match Report products are generated digitally after payment or submission of the relevant information. They may be displayed in your browser, sent by email, made available through your account, or delivered through another digital method on the website.

Career Vault is delivered through your online account or dashboard once your subscription is active.

You are responsible for saving, downloading or copying any report or output where the website tells you that the content will not be stored permanently.

Immediate access and cancellation rights

Some Alignix products are digital content or digital services that may be supplied immediately after payment.

By purchasing a report or accessing paid digital content immediately, you may be asked to confirm that you want immediate access and understand that your statutory 14-day cancellation right may be lost once digital delivery begins.

This does not affect your statutory rights if the digital content is faulty, not as described or not supplied with reasonable care and skill.

Career Vault subscriptions

Career Vault is a subscription product. The subscription price and billing period will be shown at checkout.

Unless cancelled, your subscription will renew automatically at the end of each billing period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through the Stripe Customer Portal or any account billing link provided on the website.

If you cancel your subscription, your access will normally continue until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, unless stated otherwise at the point of cancellation.

We do not usually provide partial refunds for unused time in a billing period, unless required by law or where we decide to do so as a goodwill gesture.

Refunds

If a paid report fails to generate after payment, you may be offered an automatic refund or you can contact us at info@alignix.co.uk.

If something goes wrong with your purchase, please contact us and we will review it fairly.

Refunds may be considered where:

a report fails to generate after payment;
you are charged incorrectly;
you cannot access a paid product due to a technical fault on our side;
the digital content is faulty or not as described;
we are required by law to provide a refund.

We do not usually provide refunds where a report has been successfully generated and delivered, unless required by law.

What Alignix reports and tools are

Alignix reports, recommendations and outputs are AI-assisted career guidance tools.

They are designed to help you reflect on your career direction, skills, evidence, role fit and possible next steps.

They are not professional financial, legal, recruitment, immigration, educational or employment advice.

We do not guarantee:

that you will get a job;
that you will receive an interview;
that an employer will agree with the report;
that a salary estimate will be accurate;
that a suggested role will be available;
that a qualification, course or action will lead to a specific outcome.

Salary figures, role pathways, readiness scores and timelines are estimates only.

User information and accuracy

The quality of Alignix outputs depends on the information you provide.

You are responsible for making sure the information you submit is accurate, lawful and does not include anything you do not have permission to share.

You should not upload or submit someone else’s CV, personal data or job application information without permission.

Next Move Alerts

Next Move Alerts may send curated roles, role examples, opportunities or career-related updates based on the information you provide.

We do not guarantee that every role will be available, suitable, accurate, current or open at the time you view it.

You should always check the employer’s own job advert and application details before applying.

You can unsubscribe from marketing or alert emails using the unsubscribe link provided.

Talent Pool

If you choose to join the Alignix Talent Pool, your profile may be used to help identify opportunities that may be relevant to your stated goals, skills, location and preferences.

Your Talent Pool participation is optional.

Employers or partners should not receive your direct contact details unless you have agreed to an introduction or sharing of your details.

Any Talent Pool or employer introduction feature is intended to support opportunity matching. It does not guarantee employer interest, interviews, job offers or employment outcomes.

Affiliate links and partner recommendations

Alignix may include links to courses, training providers, products, resources or partner services.

Some links may be affiliate links. This means Alignix may earn a commission if you choose to buy through them, at no extra cost to you.

Affiliate or partner recommendations are optional and should not be treated as guarantees of quality, suitability, accreditation, employment or career progression.

You should check the provider’s own terms, pricing, accreditation and suitability before purchasing.

Fair use

You must not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt to access another user’s account, scrape content, reverse engineer the tools, or use Alignix outputs to build a competing service.

We may suspend or restrict access if we believe the service is being misused.

Changes to products and pricing

We may update our products, features, prices or subscription plans from time to time.

If you are already subscribed to Career Vault, we will aim to give reasonable notice of any material pricing change that affects your subscription.

Limitation of liability

We provide Alignix tools to support career reflection, planning and decision-making.

We are not responsible for losses resulting from decisions you make based on Alignix outputs, except where the law says we cannot exclude or limit responsibility.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you may also have rights under the laws of the country where you live.
